Fifth alarm - Etobicoke

A fifth-alarm blaze which tore through a west-end townhouse earlier this week sent one fire officer to hospital with critical injuries. A mayday transmission was called in over the air as one district chief suffered a critical injury during the firefight. He was taken to a nearby hospital and is now in stable condition. One dog was also rescued from the building.

Tree Doctor second alarm

A second-alarm fire was quickly brought under control at the Tree Doctor building Saturday night. Smoke from the industrial unit, located as Horner and Kipling Avenues in the west end, could be seen from blocks away.

Working fire - Brimley/Lawrence

It was a tragic start to the week as one Scarborough home near Brimley Road and Lawrence Avenue East was destroyed by fire, leaving several residents displaced. Support 7 was called in to assist firefighters well into the evening hours.
